Lavender (Lavandula) is one of the flowering plants from the mint family. The oil extracted has some great properties including antiseptic. It can be used directly onto the skin for insect bites, burns, ezcema, psoriasis and wounds.
It can alleviate anxiety and help with depression, headaches, migraine, nervous tension and stress-related conditions.
Aswell as working on the Respiratory System, Digestive System, Genito-urinary Sysytem, Immune System, the list goes on.
Base Formula oils and wax are pre-blended with a number of different essential oils to suit different needs. Lavender is used in many of these because it is such a good allrounder. So to unwind and de-stress I recommend the Tranquility Wax, unlike an oil the wax is non drip, non greasy, and allows for a more deeper, specific massage as it does not slip easily across the skin.
For a more soothing wax for muscles and joints the muscle wax is great, not only does it have Lavender oil it is also blended with Clary Sage, Marjoram and Rosemary, perfect after a workout.
